The year 2021 has been rich in projects for Espace Loggia. Every year, we strive to satisfy our customers by responding to their requests. Over the past few years, we’ve been meeting the demand for furnishings that are in tune with society’s solutions and the trend towards thrifty, minimalist and nomadic living. Every project is a new challenge for us. This year, Espace Loggia was delighted to answer the call of one of our customers to fit out a Tiny House.

An unusual design

A few weeks ago, a customer contacted us because she wanted to travel with her 12m2 caravan with a ceiling height of 270 cm. Naturally, Espace Loggia answered the call because, for us, every project is possible.

To make the most of the space this customer had in her caravan, we opted for a retractable bed. This bed is the ideal solution when space is limited. In order to take full advantage of the high ceilings while freeing up floor space, we opted for a bed that slides along the wall, stows discreetly in the ceiling during the day and only appears at night.

A tailor made space-saving layout

This challenge wasn’t so difficult to meet, as our furniture is made-to-measure. This customer gave us all the details she needed to assemble the retractable bed when she came into the store.

We usually go to each customer’s home to assemble the beds, but this time she came to us with her “Tiny House” at our factory in Les Herbiers, Vendée. After taking the measurements, we decided with the customer to install a Dklé retractable bed, made of natural wood to match the Scandinavian spirit of her furnishings.

Two spaces in one

With this foldaway bed, you can create two spaces in one. When stored on the ceiling, you benefit from a relaxation area.

At night, your bed becomes a comfortable sleeping space. You no longer have to worry about the dimensions of your home. This makes it ideal for minimalist homes.
