Our environmental approach to eco-friendly furniture
At Espace Loggia, we advocate a sustainable development approach to interior design. That’s why we design modular furniture furniture. Limiting environmental impact throughout the life cycle of a piece of furniture is our priority, and this is achieved through eco-design, French manufacturing and the second life of furniture.
Because we reject obsolescence and over-consumption, we have chosen furniture designed to be repairable, reusable and recyclable. Our recycled wood and second-life furniture are part of a true circular economy.
French manufacturing committed to the environment
Since 1992, Espace Loggia has been manufacturing its furniture in France. This decision, far from being a simple marketing argument, is above all an ethical and ecological approach! 90% of our suppliers and partners are located less than 90 km from our workshops. This is particularly true of the Bourdaud sawmilla family-run business based in Nozay (Loire-Atlantique). Producing locally enables us to reduce our carbon footprint and control the quality of each piece of recycled or new furniture.

We carefully select high-quality natural resources with low environmental impact, suitable for intensive use.
Solid wood comes from ecologically managed forests (massive certifications PEFC and FSC) close to our production sites. These labels guarantee that Espace Loggia’s modular furniture makes no contribution to deforestation. Measures are put in place to preserve and renew forests and maintain biodiversity while producing wood.
The MDF panels used to floor the wooden beds are made in France, for greater strength and low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
The finishes are non-toxic and the paint has a low environmental impact, helping to preserve air quality.
Modular, recyclable furniture for a second life
From design to end-of-life, Espace Loggia minimizes the environmental impact of its furniture. We have developed reuse and recycling solutions to extend the life of our furniture.
Modularity: our retractable beds, mezzanine beds and multifunctional furniture adapt to your changing lifestyle. Family expansion? Entertaining guests? Looking for modular furniture for telecommuting? Espace Loggia has you covered. Did you know that all our single beds can be converted into double beds as the children grow?
Repairability: each piece of furniture can be disassembled and reassembled up to 20 times without deterioration, and we guarantee the availability of spare parts for the entire life of the product.
- Second life: all our products can be reclaimed, refurbished or recycled. What’s more, we’re the only company to offer a take-back and reconditioning service: we come to your home free of charge to dismantle the furniture and refurbish it in our workshops before reusing it.
